Refunds & Buyer Protection

Effective August 6, 2026

This page explains, in plain terms, when a buyer gets their money back on TopBid.Live and when they do not. It summarises Sections 5 and 8 of the Terms; if the two ever disagree, the Terms govern.

The short version

Every item is sold as-is, exactly as it was shown on the seller's live stream, and all sales are final. The one thing we do protect against is not receiving what you paid for. Your payment is held by TopBid, not paid out to the seller, until delivery is confirmed — so if the item never arrives, the money to refund you is still there.

What is covered

A successful claim is refunded in full, including any shipping the seller charged.

What is not covered

How to file a claim

Email support@topbid.live from the address you used to bid, with the streamer's handle, the item, and the date the auction closed. If the package arrived empty or damaged, attach photographs.

The deadline

Once that window closes, the held funds are released to the seller and no platform claim is available.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original card through Stripe, and typically appear within five to ten business days depending on your bank. We never refund to a different card or account.

Cancelled auctions

If an auction is cancelled before it closes, nobody is charged anything. Bidding is always free, and only a winning bidder is ever charged.
